Well this was fun...
I've mentioned this in a few other threads lately as I've gone through the planning stages. I got together with the other half of a friend a few months ago as she was looking for a new band for some themed cover shows. I called up all my favourite players and had the bones of a band sorted within a couple of weeks. Last night was our first show "Fleetwood Mac & Friends".
We got a 180-head sell out so the venue was super happy before we started, and we got it looking and sounding fantastic. AND THEN we played well. roughly 2/3 FM and 1/3 other stuff over 2 hours, 2 encores and a real good time.
Also a metric shitload of singing - almost every song with 2/3/4 part harmonies and I was on lead vox for about a third of the set. First time doing that and other than a couple of dropped lyrics I'm very happy with it. Also the first gig for the LPC, ES-355 AND Laurel Canyon, all of which did a marvellous job.
Now we need to work out what we're doing next!!

Though I think Fred gets off lightly; the bassist from my jam band looks more like Johnny Sins...
There are way more to come and hopefully in slightly better quality, but gives an idea

Not sure there's enough market here to go full pro but I'm trying to build a proper set of credentials and knowledge to come do it at home in another 3-5 years when we plan to chuck it all in here.
