Caulbearers November gigs & new music

One of the bands I'm in, Caulbearers, are celebrating a single launch with a live gig in Manchester on Saturday, November 22nd plus two other north-west gigs earlier that month. 

Line up features members of The Earlies, Elf Traps, Cherry Ghost & Beats & Pieces Big Band, plus singer Ruth Blake joins us for the MCR date.

Unfortunately tonight's planned Glossop gig has had to be cancelled due to events beyond our control, but if anyone's near Sowerby Bridge tomorrow or Manchester next week, we're still doing those!

Just watched the video again. it reminded me of my former life. I would say you're clearly a fan of Ian Brown but a better singer, assuming you are the singer?

Thanks @Jfingers. I'm not the singer, that's Damien, who writes and produces all the music, I'm playing all the guitars on this track though. 

I couldn't say if Ian Brown in particular was a big influence for him (I was a bit too young for the Stone Roses first time round myself, but loved the two records when I heard them), but definitely that whole Manchester dance-music-meets-guitars thing is present to some degree in most of what this band does.

When I joined the band, they had Julie Gordon in their/our line up, who'd been touring in the Happy Mondays for a while...
