Anyone else a fan of the Stuart Clayton / Bassline Publishing books?

Currently really enjoying Slap Bass Workouts and have got 3 other titles of his on my shelf at home.
Great transcriptions, lessons and workouts.

When I've got my skills up to par I might even attempt the Mark King and Stuart Zender stuff...

I have all his sight reading books.

When I got press ganged into the jazz big band they were a lifesaver! Got me up and running far quicker than I would have been otherwise.

Its strange - I had some terrible books by him as a starter and I ended up buying just those by Ed Friedland, but others tell me Stuarts great.

I've got one EF book - the building walking basslines one. That is excellent. I still dip into that as I'm a big fan of walking bass parts.

Not enough of them these days.

Yep - My favourite lines to play (the exact opposite of slappity poppity).

I have all the Jamiroquai books, Brand New Heavies (which I think is/was free as a download) and the Chic book from him.

I never looked at his other books but I also got Ed Friedland, Gary Willis John Patitucci for walking bass lines and improvisation.  So very similar what others have got.
