It sounds good to me, although the vocals are hard to hear sometimes. The verse sounds clearer than the other parts, but this may be deliberate on your part.

appreciate the listen. bumped the vocals up half a db.... not sure if its enough to make a difference tho?

Came back to this after a bit of a break and i think I definitely went a bit over the top . Nevertheless it's unusual and interesting enough (for me) to persist with so I went back and eased off on the master compression to open the dynamics up a bit. Still open to feedback?

It sounds better to me. The second part is still a bit more buried, but you can make out the lyrics now. Have you thought about adding a harmony/octave part there to make it stand out a bit more?
