Body double- so need to keep context.

Yes I came very close to being a "hand double" for a film, playing a piano duet. But sadly my hands were slightly too square in their proportions so I was rejected at the final hurdle. I couldn't understand why that was so important given it was like a 30 second shot at most but assume if that's what they are like for hands only, then can only imagine what they'd be like for a full body double.

I did chuckle re the Elton one when somebody sent it to me for the first time, as the only image I have of Elton performing is a fat bloke sitting down so presumably I'd just need to have a few more takeaways and get a wig!

Ha that's very kind. I only meant offended that folks thought me similar in proportions to somebody I associate with being quite rotund objectively I wouldn't have the charisma to do the job though in any case

Given part of the brief was to play a portly, balding, arthritic queen, I was very disappointed at my rejection note from the casting company.
