LOOKING FOR FAMILY HEIRLOOM

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out in the hope that someone here might be able to help.

We recently found out that my late granddad’s two guitars were sold without our knowledge around 2–8 months ago in Snettisham, Norfolk (UK). These instruments meant a great deal to him and to our family, so we are trying to track them down and hopefully bring them back home.

From what I know:

  • One was a Lowden F-32C (best estimate), with a distinctive diamond fretboard inlay
  • The second was a dreadnought-style acoustic, darker wood, with ruby-coloured bridge pins

I have attached a photo of one of the guitars with him.

Because of these unique features, I’m hoping someone may recognise them, or may have seen them sold or purchased locally within Norfolk or nearby areas in the past year.

If you have any information at all, no matter how small, please reach out. We would be willing to pay to have them returned to the family.

These guitars were incredibly important to my granddad, and this situation has been very difficult for us.

Thank you for taking the time to read this it genuinely means a lot.
