Song writing.

About 30 years ago I was playing in a country band and I wrote a few songs, band split, didn’t write again but I played in loads of bands till I retired from gigging in 2017.
last year or so I have started writing again, first up a Christmas song that I got a local girl to sing, Then more recently a song called Don’t call me fool. Which I got my old singer to sing for me. 

I feel like I have wasted so much time by not writing in the ensuing years, but now with the advent of such cheap recording equipment, DAW, VSTs etc, that I no longer use an amp, and I feel like I am starting to get in swing of it. 

Put the last two songs on Spotify and other streaming services via DistroKid, and thoroughly enjoying the role of producer/musician and writer. 

Anybody else coming at this later in life?
