Q: what's pink and long and throbs in your bins?

Black strats bring to my mind those plywood 1990s Korean Squiers that weighed and sounded like concrete blocks and when inevitably paired with a Peavey Rage in combination with their ceramic pickups sounded as musical as roadworks on your lunch break. I know this is specific to me but I make no apologies because the Fender corporation did this to themselves by selling that junk to gullible teenagers and shattering their dreams one at a time

Yeah I think I thought that for a while, but recently I realised every strat player I’ve ever loved mostly plays a black one, or did their best stuff on one, so I’m onboard
