I'm ok with a smidge of auto tune is ok to fix the occasional wobble, especially when I know the singer can deliver fine but the session is over or we don't have time to punch in for every tiny thing. But I don't like to use any on my own voice
Especially if that particular song started to do well for you.
Sounded bloody amazing.
A great tool for songwriters incapacitated or no access to musicians or recording facilities.
But totally agree it’s a slippery slope which will be abused through laziness, cost cutting, etc.

It's not AI it's a voice bank.
You score out the notes and then assign words to the notes. It takes a bit of tweaking to get it to sound good but I've had good results.
As I mentioned it's not AI it's a real persons voice which you use to create tracks.
Everyone has a singing voice - you just need to find yours, or get other people to sing what you've written.
That reminds me to get back to work on the cover challenge track I've been putting off since I realised how difficult the vocal isgoing to be. Embrace the pain of hearing yourself struggle and go with it. It will get better with practice, like every other instrument

A PC is a recording facility. So if you can send an AI a prompt, you can record something yourself using the PC you used to send the prompt. If you're actually a songwriter.
