Is it worth upgrading to a waza craft pedal ?!

Been enjoying using the sd1 with my jcm800 at the moment. My sd1 is a bit roadworn and is definitely an older one , so I was thinking of replacing it with a newer one. I was wondering if it was worth getting a waza craft one instead ??

The noise floor is a bit lower it has a mode with slightly more bass, level and gain.

    Other than that almost identical.

I have one and love it but it's not super different.

That SD1 you have will outlast Keith Richards regardless of what it looks like. Keep it and save your money.

The old one will have better tone because of the mojo. By all means try a waza to see if the mod circuit works better, but if you're happy with the old one just keep it

Of all the Waza pedals it's the "least" upgraded I think but the lower noise floor is nice. If you're happy with the one you have, as mentioned above several times, hang on to it.

Lower noise floor is definitely something that I’d be interested in , although I’d keep my existing one too.
It did get crackly but I think that was a loose socket nut.

If it's not a fairly recent SD-1 it will also have the well-known problem with the overdrive sound leaking into the bypass. How bad it is depends on the individual pedal - they vary quite noticeably - and how you use it. If you use the pedal to generate overdrive into a clean amp, you'll notice it. If you use it either as a clean-ish boost into a very overdriven amp or to add overdrive to a crunchy amp, you won't.
