Community guitar group, need a metronome/drum machine, recommendations please

What's Hot
I've recently joined a couple of local guitar groups, mixed abilities, mainly acoustic, one group has a bass player which is great.  However, there are a few issues with people staying in time, and I think a metronome would help, or maybe a drum machine if it was easy to use.

Currently considering:
- Trio+
- RC10
- Garageband & bluetooth speaker

Anyway, wondering if anyone has any experience with similar situations, and recommendations?

Thanks

I'm selling a Flamma FF02 drum machine pedal. Highly recommend it and dirt cheap. I no longer need it. PM me if interested.

There are lots of free drum machine apps available.  How about using one of them, maybe paired with a Bluetooth speaker?

Yup, that's the way. Most people will respond better to the more forgiving drum beat than a strict metronome. App + speaker i probably the cheapest way. Cheap pedal may be more inspiring?

It may be worth some "homework" for people to play along to a youtube percussion backing track.

Get a drum stick and tap them on the head with it until they get it right?

Drum beat will be easier to follow than a metronome.

How are people playing, just acoustic, or with amps?

Some basic amps have drum machines built in (My Nux practice amp does)

One group all acoustic (with electric bass).  The other group all acoustic except one electric

Just get a cajon or two.

It's a lot more fun and requires no programming. Might even get a few percussionists to join then too.

Thanks for all the input, I'll discuss it with the groups, but leaning towards an app currently
