A first for me.

I went to meet up a new forming band last night. I kind of know most f the people, but not ever all played together.
it’s modern country inspired, drummer was a no show! Anyway we are set up in a village hall having just had our first run through the first tune (new to me) a bit rough. Old guy walks in, he’s on the committee, asks if he can listen a while. We explain our situation, he listens to the second run through and then the first run through of another new song. Stands up and offers us a gig based on that!

Is it a sign? No probably not, but a nice feeling anyway.
