    Big box Deluxe Memory Man.
Old or new? Is there a difference?
I have the DMM nano, any idea how close these are to the big box?
I have the 1100TT and the Nano. The Nano definitely has something of the DMM family sound but some clock noise and aliasing come in at the top end of the delay time range. The 1100TT has double the BBD capacity and is therefore capable of twice the delay time - no noise at the max delay time control setting so the Nano is definitely lacking something!
Thanks for that, maybe I’ll check one out

A Lehle Mono volume pedal. A few years ago, I upgraded from an EB VP Jr, just to see what the fuss was all about. Now I know.

Or maybe the TC Spark. That's always around, too.

But definitely a utility pedal. I'm generally fickle about other effects and always looking for the next "perfect" thing. :-)

Strymon Deco. I let go of mine last year just to get a V2. Love both sides of it. If it was my only pedal I'd be quite happy.

    There's 2.

My EQD Palisades.  Covers just about every tube screamer option I'll ever need.

Strymon Deco. Still not quite sure what it does but, whatever it is, I sound better for it.

The chorus in the Valeton GP50 is a dead ringer for one of these.

Rather oddly, it's an AMT S-Drive.

Never really had the clock noise issue with this one. I did give away an SCH-Z because of that.

  • Digitech Death Metal. I keep trying alternative distortion pedals and none have quite the right thump, in the right frequencies, compared to the Death Metal. (Though the Boss MT-2W with the custom voicing on gets pretty close.) I currently have three and god help me, would be perfectly happy to acquire a few more "just in case".

As it currently stands I reckon it’s the Vongon Polyphrase. I used to have 2 of them and it was incredible running them in series. I sold both and sorely regretted it. Eventually i bought another one and would again buy a 2nd if money wasn’t an issue.

Nice. I've always wanted to test drive one of the Legend AMT pedals.

Way Huge Saucy Box. It’s been a staple of my board for ~12yrs now and just makes everything sound ‘better’. At one point I was collecting the various colourways too, but have settled on the Chalky Box variant for some reason. I might go back to collecting more of them again though, as no-one else seems to appreciate what a superb boost/OD circuit it is and they’re pretty cheap!

I want one just because it looks so awesome.  I want to have it right next to an Ibanez Layer Delayer!

Digitech XP 300 Space Station.   Got one for $157 a long time ago.  Sold it when I was in a bad spot.  Got another one a few years ago for substantially more than the first one.  Not going through that again.

Oh wow, I’d not heard of the Layer Delayer before but it looks incredible! Might have to pick one up this summer, thanks!
