Im a fan of the Positive Grid modelling. The dumble preset that came with my Neos sounds really good. Not sure how much like a Dumble, but it’s inspiring for practice.

Yeah I see that now, maybe the guy has been asked to take it down or whatever. Apparently a Guitar Center employee shared everything he had on it, it’s similar in style to a Katana with a white panel, looked pretty nice.

I’ve tried the Dumble too but use a classic Fender clean most of the time and mostly steal everyone else’s settings from the tone library because I’m too lazy to make my own.

Watched a little of it earlier. Looks like a new practice amp with new interface and software much like a katana. Footswitch coming too. Obviously PG got wind and got them to take it down.

Looks the part. I’ll be very tempted once it’s released but as normal with me I’ll probably wait until I read a few reviews etc.

Yeah it does look decent. I like the big R logo on it. 
How do you build a tone from a photo though?

Definitely curious to try one as I really rate my Spark.

Got a teaser vid in an email today but it gives nothing away tbh

Yeah I got the same, but at least we now know the official release day is this coming Tuesday. I’m the same as you because I love mine too! I’m expecting/hoping for great things.

Took a quick look at a couple demos this morning, and it sounds fine but all the AI slop in the interface and all the reliance on that kind of tech as its USP is a big no-no from me. I don't want the ChatGPT of amplifers, thanks.

On the same day as the video that has now been taken down there was a couple of American stores that had it listed on their websites and it was around $650. I like PG stuff but that's a bit pricey for a bedroom player like me.

I get you. Just innovation though innit. I don’t go too deep with my Spark, it’s great for lazy people, this’ll probably be the same. Just steal patches from the library and crack open another beer.

Loved a line from Paul at Milehouse studios, something about an amp for all of use who learn the easy start of the solos but move on to something else when the hard bits start. 

I feel seen. 

I definitely don’t like the look of the app as much as the standard Spark app. Too much wasted space and the AI slop pics are hideous. Otherwise seems well appointed and I think the Spark models are just fine. 

I think most users will enjoy the AI-prompting sound design. I think my Spark Mini has an early version of it and from what I remember it’s fine. This seems like it’s evolved into something very usable.
