Sell it now, cheap, before you get a C&D.
i know which side i am on and it rhymes with dentist guitars ;-P
As Smith explained, production was suspended whilst the Gibson suit was contested. Once it was dismissed, production resumed. The guitars before and after the court action were EXACTLY THE SAME.
A deep shade of blue is always there.
Fender's PR disaster from this will increase the PRS market share even more.
I have two good Strats that I've owned for more than a decade, so I'm not in the market for another S style, but if I was, it wouldn't be a Fender, and it might well be a Silver Sky.
Fender didn't raise any lawsuits back then, instead they realised they needed to build better guitars at better prices to beat the fakes - and went to the fakers to do it.

I tried a US Silver Sky and Fiore in Peach around a year ago and they both felt a significant step up from a US Fender (although at around £2.5k they are a bit more expensive)
I've drunk loads of Kool Aid, which led me right down "boutique" alley etc.
Today I have just two electric guitars: Both are USA Silver Skys, both bought used, and both fabulous.
Fender would have to build something extraordinary at a very tempting price in order for me to return.
