Small acoustic simulator pedal

Hi,

My pedalboard is crammed full, but for a song or two, an acoustic simulation would be good.  I see that Mooer and various almost no-name companies do some that claim to be true bypass - https://amzn.eu/d/0a1YI4gR and https://amzn.eu/d/073yQstJ but has anyone tried one or have any recommendations?

Thanks,
Andy

I can't vouch for this through any personal experience but I had the idea it might be possible to get an electric to acoustic simulation using an impulse response on something like the small TC Electronic Impulse IR loader (it comes with IR for acoustic to acoustic modelling which is what triggered the idea). Or there's the small Mooer IR loader - Radar, is it?

I did a quick web search and came up with this  so the idea is at least feasible.

No idea how effective it is in the real world though.

There's a dropbox location for the IR used in the video description.

A fascinating rabbit hole. You may want to explore further ...

  • I had the Mooer acoustic sim pedal and thought it was pretty decent if you were just wanting it for a song or two in a set. Certainly good value for money.

I have a barely used Mooer Acoustikar pedal which I would happily swap for twenty English pounds if that's of any interest.

I have no use for it, never have, but I have found that you can get some half decent tones out of it.
