grey,  -  I have some 'grey/green' based combats and some more trad greeny/brown based ones..................and the shirt is very very much closer to the grey ones.

Mine's grey, although it helpfully came with a brown stain on it. Time will tell whether it's permanent.

Therefore, I can honestly say "both".
