Varicose Veins

I seem to be developing some on my shins. They're not fully formed yet, but bulge when I squat and whatnot. Starting to get a bit sore too.

Weight loss is the obvious first step, compression stockings? I have fairly beefy calfs, do they exist for manly men like me?

You're not alone, Holn. Around my ankles looks like a Road Atlas with those Dark, Thin, Spidery Veins and on closer inspection around my Shins the same veins but paler are starting to appear and make me resemble an interesting new Cheese.

Glad I'm a bit hairy around the legs but it will only cover it so much in the future.

You should be able to get Compression socks for a man of any build. If you ever went in Hospital for a length of time they would have to provide them for you(I think) so they should come in all sizes.

You would also do well to look at some medical websites to dispell any fallacies about VV's. I would have thought my smoking might have been a problem but in fact it has no bearing one way or the other, it's a Gravity thing me thinks.

you can get the compression stockings for big or smaller legs. And yes hospitals do provide them for patients
