would also consider gear as looking to replace some of our PA/desk/ studio stuff

guitar is in excellent condition never having been played by me although I bought it maybe 5 years ago - some small clips here and there and a little scratching to the headstock decal

If you do the back reading you will see why there won't be any more made; very sad story - also has a Manson Guitars connection - get a British handmade guitar for MIM money!

A few questions:
What are the pickups and tuners?
Does it have a case?
Is that £425 posted?

Tuners are Schallers (MI Germany) - I can only assume the pups are Kent Armstrong as this was the standard spec - no hard case  but can include basic courier in the price - cheers

Deffo Kent Armstrongs - these are the hand wound ones, not the far eastern stuff.

I would love to give this a home - I've owned one Fingerbone guitar in the past and they are beautiful instruments. Sadly I'm lacking funds - unless you fancy a Gibson SG Classic as a trade?

thanks for the update impmann - sadly I am rather over-supplied with guitars at the moment hence this feeler to reduce the amount of strat style guitars I have ! Happy New Year

I used to own a Fingerbone Les Paul Special DC type in Fiesta Red which had two DiMarzio P90-sized humbuckers. 

It was a great guitar and I wish I still had it.

I know - these aren't replaceable easily are they - not like a current model - however nice that might be !

Not wishing to be a naysayer, but Fingerbone continued after Paul Richardson gave up and sold the brand to another luthier, so it may very well be one from that era.

Paul was a very fear friend of mine and it was very sad when he died a few years ago in a `Road Accident.

Here's a photo taken at Island Studios when he presented the Late John Martyn with his Fingerbone Fury Custom.

fabulous picture - I could never find much out about Paul Richardson on the net - so that is wonderful - I don't think we will ever know the exact details as records and serials were not easily accessible - the chap I bought it off was an older player and had it some time himself so I suspect the former era - thanks for sharing!
