been lame on his back leg since Saturday, he has had problems with that leg since the 2nd (of 7) mast cell tumor was removed last January (very large margins so 2cm into his thigh muscle) ------ with scar tissue tightening........... anyway.............. took him to the vet earlier.......... its likely its cruciate problems........... on anti inflams and if it doesnt improve by Weds...(same day as Im having my elbow looked at!!)....... it might mean a lengthy op........... poor bugger's been under the knife 3 times in the last 12 months......... and he's big heavy old chap.....so knee reconstruction wont be the most comfortable of things
EDIT
oh, Franks a 3 a day man, he would appreciate the same

Just found out that my Mum's dog (that she's had since I was mid teens) has a cancerous tumour on her front leg. She's otherwise healthy and the vet says that old age will get her long before the cancer but it's still upset me. They're troublesome things these pets.

I suspect Decker will be a good source of luck until his workplace gets a new catering contractor. I'm on a post-hard-weekend detox so probably won't be able to manage more than a noxious fart. Frank's welcome to it, of course (though it will "officially" have been donated by the woman that sits next to me in the office).
