Sack that, I've bagged one of t'bay
@GavHaus I can't get YT at work, but the Prymaxe Vintage demo is tremendous. Granted I think it's probably one of those demos where they carefully select a repertoire to show the pedal off at it's best (a la Andy PGS).
However, all I really want is a pedal that will make single note solos and melodies sound synthy. This should do the trick.
@GavHaus Hmmmn.
To be fair I've not really spent too much time playing with it, but that was mainly due to my initial disappointment at what sounds I could get out of it.
The release seems to quick, and in order to get a more violinesque sound out of it, but pushing the filter more creates more instability/noise.
I think there is a sweet spot for sure. I found that I got better sounds out of my jag than I did my mustang. Next step will be to try it with P90s, and probably with a e-bow.
But I think I have to come to terms with the fact that there isn't a pedal out there that can make my guitar sound like a synth (might try a C9 though)
@DesVegas yeah, I think I'll be trying it with an ebow soon.
@meltedbuzzbox yeah I was looking more for a proper synth sounded rather than the glitchy filtered sound.
