I ve just had a new extension for a music room and l/ room ...anyway ended up it has a leak ...i think we found today where the the leak was ...just on the corner by the led..
But
When we pulled the led back from the valley boards it felt damp underneath is the breathable felt stuff meant to be sandwitched between the valley board and led ....we are thinking of talking the led of to get the breathable membrane from underneath it....any help appreciated....i know its nothing to do with guitars...:)

Yeah same with ours .....but once its all been leded and roof on ...it started...seems to depend on wind direction ....i think we found it but what concerned me was how damp it was under the led running down the valley boards...wondered if the breathable membrane maybe shouldnt have been run over the valley boards

Pretty sure the membrane on ours went all over, could it be getting in higher up and makings its way down ?

Cant see a thing....it seems all sealed ...the only thing i was thinking fan from the bathroom was vented to above the roof space i needed to re route it...im wondering iff its maybe condensation trapped between the led and valley boards.....take it out about a 6 weeks ago though so thougjt it should have dried if it was that ..

lot of old roofs had no membrane at all.
I would be looking at the lead as the source of the leak.  a lot of times the builders run the lead in lengths that are too long and not overlapped etc, this leads to expansion/contraction splits,  you can get lead repair in a mastic gun tube and it works well !
