One knob FX

I'm enjoying the Earthquaker Speaker Cranker to add a little grit to a clean tone. The pedal has a single knob (labeled "More") so faffing time is minimal. It does one thing - you either like it or you don't. What other single knob pedals can you recommend?

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

MXR Phase 90, MXR Micro Chorus. Both do a hell of a lot with just a single control.

    This.

If you can stretch to 2 controls the MXR Microflanger is an awesome bit of kit.

In fact, when I can be arsed these 3 will be on my 80's rock/Vanhalen board.

while you're looking at EQD, the Arrows is also a great 1 knob boost pedal that has some treble booster qualities about it.

there's also the Analogman Juicer for a great compressor

Black Arts Toneworks Ritual is a great 1 knob fuzz pedal

Boo Instruments Boost. Hands-down the best clean boost I've ever used.

Doesn't hurt that it looks like it's hewn from a solid block of metal, either.

I've got a hao rust driver on the way to me - it does have a tone switch but the only control is a volume - I'm hoping the drive level is set just right - the clips I've heard sound that way.  Should be a nice simple pedal :)

That would be an interesting project actually. A pedalboard with all pedals only having a single knob. I would suggest:
    • Analogman Juicer
    • Lovepedal Amp 50
    • Xotic EP Booster
    • MXR Phase 90
    • MXR Micro Chorus
    • Lovepedal Echo Baby
    • TF HoF Mini
