I see some expensive cars round here sometimes for some odd reason. Even saw a Ferrari outside the doctors. The Turkish/Arab locals seem to care about having expensive cars, rather than nice clothes or houses.

Up until last year I used to live pretty much next door to a 'prestige' car dealer, so every day was full of seeing Ferraris, Bentleys, Astons, Lambos, etc driving around.

The one thing which always got my attention?  Someone around here has a pristine black Rover SD1 Vitesse with a 5L V8 and a supercharger bolted on, with very minimal silencing.  Sounds absolutely divine.

I'm quite immune to car envy, especially ones that I can't afford, I do look at them but I don't actually lust after them. the car that I actually lust just a BMW Z4, since I could actually afford one but it's not practical so my head rule my wallet in this instance.

I work opposite a massive Harley garage, I see bikes that make me drool daily. On the car front, a neighbour has a British racing green Classic Mini Cooper, he knows I lust after it & has offered to let me look after it while he's on holiday. I daren't- If it's half as good as I imagine, I'd want one & can't afford (and don't need) a car.

There is a guy around here with a mint condition Mk5 Transit smiley chassis cab.  I think he runs a pallet business and another bloke with a smiley Transit County chassis cab.  Gets my attention every time.

There's a car repair and restoration garage a couple of units down from where my employers are based. They seem to have a lot of work from the H R Owen garage and recently there's been loads of Maseratis and Ferraris. Gorgeous looking things.

As mentioned before I love Jensen Interceptors too - there used to be a guy who had a few near to where I grew up. Proper V8 noise.
