Or alternatively sell me your Monaco!

I like the Monacos, in fact I almost bought one about 5 years ago....when they were about 1400 quid. Now they seem to be about 4k. Steep.

I think I'd go for vintage if I could.

Those Tiffany watches look a lot like IWCs. I like the balance on the face.

It's a Glashutte Original Panomatic Lunar. I've always liked them. They're a bit different, you won't see many about and the work on the movement is beautiful.

I've been left a little bit of money from a grandparent with the express wish to buy myself something - I already have a couple of Omegas and always wanted the gulf racing monaco - whilst I couldt easily afford a new one, I just can't justify to my family £5k on a watch

There's one in ebay that's about 30 miles from me with a £3k bin or best offer. If I could snare it for say £2700 and save him all his fees - Id be well happy

Hate the thought of buying something like that through evilbay though - even though Id be dealing face to face, I wouldn't be confident enough to know a fake - that said this one has all it boxes papers, warranty card and original receipt

I saw that this morning too; the black is lovely, but probably not what I'd buy for £5k.

I bought a nearly new Rolex Sub from them, had no problems with the deal at all, although I did go in person.
