Courtney is a troubled soul, of that there is no doubt.

If it is the Nick Broomfield film, it is a bit one sided (and I usually like his shtick) - he gives Courtney a hard time for not participating, but Kurt blew his own head off while still married to her - bound to affect you more than a bit. I wouldn't judge her after what she went through.

On the face of it she's patched things up with Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic (and indeed her daughter), so for now at least seems a nicer person.

I loved Kurt and think Courtney is a repugnant human being.  However some of the conspiracy crap is so ridiculous it's painful.  If you forget that it's Kurt you are talking about and someone said to you "This guy was a manic depressive smackhead.  He had a shotgun and shot himself!" Then how many people would be going "NO WAY... There must be more to it.  He must have been murdered!"?

It wasn't the Broomfield docu, it's the new one, Montage of Heck. His daughter is one of the executive producers.

I watched it the other night, she was an absolute shocker, terrible thing addiction. Kurt seemed really sweet and together in this interview, quite at odds with the smacked out saddo that he seemed to be in a lot of the scenes in the doc

Frances-Bean and her mom have a pretty toxic relationship, don't blame her either with a self-centered smack-head for a mother.

I'm not a Courtney defender, but she's a very damaged person and ought to be pitied rather than set up as a hate figure.
