I built this guitar a few years ago but was never quite satisfied with it. I'd done a light relic job on it but I felt it was a bit half-hearted, and it had a Bare Knuckle Abraxas in the bridge which sounded nice but I felt was a bit light in the low-mids and bass, and two Kent Armstrong single coils that were very low power and a bit lacking. So recently I took it to bits, re-did the relic job (the nitro finish has nicely sunk into the wood now too so it feels nice and old!), made a scratchplate for it, took the veneer off the headstock (I was never happy with that either!), and replaced the pickups. So it now has a BKP Stockholm P90 in the bridge and a Trilogy suite in the neck - they have transformed the guitar! It now has loads of character but also lots of balls!! And with the relic'ing and really rounded fingerboard edges, etc, it feels like a really old guitar! Anyway, a couple of pics
