  • I used the wudtone azur lagoon finishing kit, and I don't know what kind of dye they use in that (although I'd like to know)

So far this year, I seem to have built 5 and assembled/finished 1.

    I didn't need 6 more guitars.
    :(

In no particular order, except last one first  ...

This was the assembly/finish job.  I bought one of @GSPBasses fine carcasses from someone else here, and had some fun with some stains and hiding the neck join
    ;)

Read all about it on this thread.

You get 2-for-1 on this build thread ...

And this is what I ended up with

(yes, yes, yes - I know - it's got a switch tip on it now!!)

    And ...

You think a 2-for-1 build thread was good?

The next 3 builds are shown on this thread, from beginning of the year.  This was really a set of rescues of previously cast-aside part builds.

This one had lain unloved in a dusty corner for ages.

And, although I say so myself, it's not at all bad now it's all sorted!

This one involved making a lot of sawdust.  Don't look at the build thread if you're squeamish.

And finally - last is very definitely *not* least in the case, as this one is quite possibly my favourite of this batch.  If not my #1 favourite, it's certainly in the top6
