Got an Ibanez AF55 cheapie jazz box, which has been waiting for some new humbuckers (Oil City Blitz Spirits) to be fitted for what seems like ages. The plan is to change out the rest of the electrics at the same time, on the basis that I'm then only doing it once.
Any suggestions for what pots to fit? It has two pickups, a 3-way toggle, 1 vol and 1 tone. The knobs are robbed from my Lemon Drop (so splined shaft, probably 6mm nominal diameter). Also, what value of tone capacitor? I'd like a tone control that lets me dial in a jazzy sound from a starting point of something a bit brighter and more woody (ie, I'd rather not restrict the option on a brighter sound by setting the amp for jazziness). And, any suggestions for good quality jack socket and 3-way toggle?
The bits (sans cap - got plenty of those) will likely come from Thomann since there's an order pending, so suggestions from what they have, if good quality, would be preferred.
