Still a lot of people struggling to find them new, so it may be a while before they pop up on the used market. When thye do, they'll tend to be on offsetguitars.com

I went into Sounds Live in Newcastle yesterday to try one (been in and out of there since they were 'released') and got the same story-

'Not out yet. Been on the phone to Fender and they reckon they might be in by Christmas'. They have had them listed for months on their website and still do.

I thought that they were already out there.

I want one, but am not prepared to buy one unless I can try one first. I suppose I could try the pawn shop model to get an idea of what it would be like, but then i'd just end up wanting that!

Vintage and Modern Guitars in Thame have a hite one in stock. There are a few about, but not that many. I enjoyed playing mine for an hour or so last night. Loads of reverb, little bit of drive. Ambient heaven.

Different beasts. Pickups and electronics are different. Be like wanting a Squier VM Jag and trying out one of the Fender Cobain ones.

Hmmmm...considering that the 25 previously advertised are now sold (pending collection tomorrow evening), I've already bought 2 others in the past two days...

They are already out there. I've had mine nearly 2 months

They are indeed already out there - it's just that they have (nearly) all been sold.

I spent a day trawling the web and on the phone to all the major retailers, plus as many (regional) shops as I could think of. Unfortunately, I overlooked Vintage & Modern.

Same story everywhere - "Sold out, mate", "If I had some in stock, they'd sell in a day", "These are amazingly popular", "You're the 3rd person who's called today", "We've sold 10 of these in the past month, last one was yesterday", "Can't get 'em for love nor money", "We've got 12 on back order - 10 of them are already sold", "We won't be restocked until November/end of December", etc, etc, etc...

think i got lucky. Ordered it in early July with delivery date of mid August. Then got email beginning week of August saying delivery date put back til mid december and i could cancel if i wanted. Kept order and 2 days after email got a call saying one had just come in and it would be dispatched next day after checking it. Also got  £30 off as it had a slight blemish on the body.

PS sorry but no its not for sale

If they're as good for the money (as people say they are) and I get on with it, I'll be ordering a Sunburst one ASAP.

They are. The biggest issue seems to be the nut, badly cut and plastic but this is cheap to replace. I had mine replaced (with bone) for a tenner. It did need some fret work (2 high ones but I opted for full dress as it was in) but even with that it still came in under a Pawn Shop one. Added some thicker strings and alls good. If your anywhere near Plymouth your welcome to come and have a play.
