    I just saw that.

No doubt he's much better than the last time he put the white shirt on, so I'm hoping he avoids the white-shirt panic this time. He's been very good at FB for Saints this season.

    Is Steward injured though?

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd

Steward is not injured... this is a tactical selection I reckon. I'm speculating but I think Eng are expecting Scotland to run at them rather than kicking. Steward has been great but isn't quick. In a one-on-one situation I think it's easier to sidestep Steward than Furbank. Still, it's definitely an interesting decision and I hope it works out. Furbank has been less-than-impressive in the Eng shirt until now....

Yes. I'd like to see Cunningham-South get more time too.

Is it just me, or is anybody else always a bit puzzled by Daly being chosen on the wing? I reckon he should be competing with Slade for 13. Not a winger in my opinion.

I would play the utility card,  but with Furbank in the team.............  not really so

Good call by Borthwick we all criticise him for not experimenting and Furbank has been superb this year and a real leader

Agreed. My only worry is that if he underperforms again in the white shirt, this might be his last chance.

    I think you are right.

I'd love him to have the game of his life though - even just to shut up the armchair coaches.

I remember his first game,   he was thrust in at No 10 (not downing street............tho...........)  due to a late injury,  made a reasonable fist of it IIRC

It's official - Courtney Lawes is leaving Saints at the end of the season and going to France.

    He will be missed.

Pardi is riding Wales here. Not letting the game flow at all.

    Noise, randomness, ballistic uncertainty.

well,  time for Slade to hang up his international boots
Earl as good as he is,  isnt a  no 8
Ford needs to learn how to pass
    Van de whatsit isnt human
Martin  - can he play no 8 ?

not bad against the favourites,   man we know how to squander scoring chances.......................

    Nothing to lose now.

Start all the youngsters and see if youthful unpredictability can do something.

Exactly. Ditch the old guard, and start again. This is the time.

Also, Feyi-Waboso...kinda felt like there were shades of Robinson about him there. We might actually have found a finisher, for the first time in years.

Yep, I think fans would mostly accept that risk.

Feyi-Waboso looked great. There were few other Eng players who stood out in a good way. I thought Underhill and Itoje looked good. Furbank definitely offers more spark than Steward but made loads of mistakes. Care and Ford both had bad games. Slade was poor. Dan Cole offers nothing but scrummaging and wasn't particularly good at that today. We badly missed Mitchell.

The start of the game I thought Eng looked really good but just couldn't score enough points. After that it was a steady downwards slope.
