Just picked this up recently as I wanted to give the Music Man neck another try.
I love how Music Man guitars play and sound, however I always had problems with the neck where my hand would cramp up after half an hours playing time. I bought this guitar to give it another shot, alas the Music Man neck profile still does not agree with me, so regretfully I'm having to move this on.
If you are looking for a pristine example of this model then this is not the guitar for you, this one has a few battle scars. There are a few dings and dents along the bottom edge, there are also a few cracks in the paint on the back, the most apparent runs from the top horn down to the neck plate (Picture 5).
The nut seems to have had a repair at some point, I've just had it setup and the local tech I use noticed this, it's on the low E side.
I've been told that the repair is absolutely sound, it doesn't effect playability, also the intonation and tuning stability is absolutely bang on.
All of the this is of course cosmetic, the guitar is still structurally sound and plays and sounds amazing.
As mentioned before the guitar has just been through a setup, so the action is nice and low, it plays great. The pickups are the stock custom Dimarzios, the guitar also has the 5 way switch which adds to the versatility.
The guitar comes with a rectangular hardcase. This is not the original Music Man case, but it does fit the guitar very snuggly.
The case has taken a bash on one corner at some point and has been repaired with black tape, it's still structurally sound and still protects the guitar perfectly well. All the catches on the case work fine.
I have priced this up very fairly considering the cosmetic issues with the guitar, it's priced to sell.
Looking for £650 inc delivery.

I think the problem I'm having is the width of the neck is slightly narrower at the nut than I'm used to. I'm used to Fender C shape style necks.
I'm inclined to agree. Not my usual thing but I'm on the ratch for a guitar just now, this is local and an awesome deal.
You're a bad man Dave. :-)
