SOLD: 60 Year Old Pine Tele Body - £45

Yet another project I've changed my mind on - this was going to be an old school Esquire, but I really can't be arsed.

I picked it up from the chap at CH Guitars and basically he made it from some 60yo pine from his Grandaddy's work shop. It had a coat of tru-oil or two on it when I got it and unsurprisingly it still has.

It will make a lovely looking guitar I'm sure, few wee knots add character etc.

If that had been drilled for a bridge & neck I'd have that off you (not sure I'd be confident getting the holes in right place myself).

Piece of piss, use a toploader bridge plate, and drilling the neck retaining screw holes is as difficult as lying down when yer tired mate.

I think you'd have to sand a fair bit off - not something I'd go for, I must admit

I think I saw this when it was listed on eBay - looked fantastic then, & still does. Don't sell it, bring it to life - I bet it will sound great
