I've got a 335 type semi and it annoyed me that the wires were visible through the f-holes. So the last time I did a pickup swap I ran everything in one single bundle around the harness, so the neck volume wire to the selector switch, and the wire for the bridge pickup, ran around the neck tone, the bridge tone, to the bridge volume, and from there to the pickup selector. The bundles were contained within plastic tubing from one pot to the next.
It was all a bit of a pain, but looks quite tidy. Does anyone else do it like this, or have any other tips for keeping the wiring hidden? Or do you just not bother about seeing it?
