It has a volume control for a reason...and all Jet City amps sound great at low volumes (I know, I've had most of them).

I'm on my third, and yes they all sound great at very low volume.

The Custom 22 is the best of the lot at home. The clean channel is genuinely lovely and rendered my Princeton obsolete, so I sold it.

I'd go +1 on the THR10C. They do come up hereabouts reasonably often. I got mine from @Gassage on here.......and it's a great little amp and not just a one trick pony. 

This one may have had Cornish pixie dust sprinkled on it though......

However, I am still interested - not in the speaker, that's scrap, but the cabinet looks to have survived and the chassis may be salvageable. If there's more damage than it looks I'd still be interested for research purposes! I've always wondered what made these amps sound so good...
