Anyone stuck material onto a guitar body?

I was wondering about sticking material to a guitar body for an 'interesting' finish. Anyone done such a thing? Wasn't the floral Jem done that way?

Yeah, it's pretty effective - Some details on how to do it easily on this thread thingy. You can use PVA or Ronseal varnish instead of the Mod-Podge stuff, but the MP is the easiest as it is very forgiving first time around

I used an old leather jacket and a electric staple gun once, that worked!
