    Hi Stuart, beautiful amp! I should have stated in my original post I have a max budget of £600 (ideally less), also I would probably have to change the speaker to a inefficient 10 inch - I need less volume rather than more.

    No problem at all and yes, smaller speaker is probably a good idea - some of these 12 watters with the normal speaker are surprisingly loud! All the best, Stuart
