FS: Orange Jim Root Terror Head (£250) + 2x12 Cab [SOLD]

Hi,

Selling my Orange Jim Root Terror Head and matching 2x12 Cab.

It’s a single-channel lunchbox amp (the same size as a Tiny Terror/Dark Terror) based on the dirty channel from the Rockerverb Mk II. Like the full-size Rockerverb, there’s a lot of gain available, but it’s capable of plenty more than just modern metal, and is well-suited to classic rock and blues, too.

The amp has a pretty powerful 3-band EQ and a tube-buffered series effects loop, making it more versatile than a normal Tiny Terror, and the controls are marked in the classic “Pics Only” style, like you’d find on a vintage Orange.
Output power is selectable between 15 and 7 Watts, with 7W mode being ideal for late-night playing, and 15W mode providing enough volume for a band situation.

The cab is the matching 2x12 for the amp, closed back, and fitted with a pair of Orange’s own “Voice of the World” speakers. The cab is rated 16 Ohms, has a power handling of 120 Watts, so it can be used with larger amps too, if you need, and has recessed carrying handles on the sides.

The amp and cab are both pristine, 1 year old, owned from new, and have never been gigged or driven hard. The amp’s padded carry bag has one minor mark on it (pictured) but is otherwise completely fine. Comes with the original packaging and paperwork and both UK and EU mains leads (voltage selectable via a switch on the side of the amp).
Effectively a more home-friendly, small-format Rockerverb Mk II. Selling because I don’t use it anymore.
