I'm obviously quite happy that we got to the semi finals although the playing has been somewhat poor. Ronaldo has the will but is clearly tired. It doesnt help that is always surrounded by at least two opposing players everytime the ball gets to him.

The manager is too cautious and it all becomes a bit boring and predictive if it wasnt for Quaresma and Renato Sanches. He will soon be in the run for the golden ball.

Depends on the context but it means "in need" more or less. "Potrzebują" would mean "they need", "potrzeba" - "a need".

Ah, cheers pal.  There used to be an American comic called "Mad Magazine" (I wonder if they still print it?), and they would print a picture of, say, a hot dog with a little sign attached saying "Potrzebie" - it makes sense now!

Tbf, Poland didn't do much more after scoring and Portugal controlled the match for the majority of the second half plus the extended time. So again, even if Portugal didn't play that well, it was a deserved win imho.

Great game, although not a lot of obvious signs of rejoicing here in Anglesey. Couple of decisions by the ref that could have made a big difference but all three really good goals and I loved the energy and drive and teamwork of the Welsh team (or, just everything the England team didn't have).
