Here's one for the wiring guru's if they'd be so kind?
A pal of mine dropped of a HH Strat type thing as the neck humbucker isn't working and someone has been in there tinkering...now, i'll admit straight off coil splitting humbuckers is not my area but I said I knew some guys who might....
So I have two humbuckers, a 3 dpt switch and a 3 position Strat blade switch. All he wants is Neck, Both, Bridge and the 3dpt switch to split the coils.
The bridge unit works and splits fine, there is no output from the neck unit.
The white and red leads are soldered together going to the middle lug of the dpt, the green and ground leads are soldered together and the black lead is just hanging (the problem?).
Any pointers from the wiring guru's
@ICBM @TheGuitarWeasel et al would be most appreciated

The black wire is your output and needs to go to the switch front left (in the picture) where the two tags are linked.
Just to clarify, do you mean the dpt switch or the blade in the last picture?

What is the thick red wire for? Ah I see it's a coil split for the other pickup.
Yes the red wire has been added to the bridge pickup at some point to split the coil.
