Just back from a trial session with my B&G LS. This model not quite what I was looking for, but hugely impressive, responsive and powerful. Anyone hesitating should get onto this one right away - you'll thank me afterwards...

What's a B&G LS and what is it that you are looking for in an amp?

I tried one of these recently and they're fantastic amps. Massive bold, clean sound that sounds bigger than a 1x12. Lovely reverb too that blooms as you turn it up and mixes in well with the sound rather than over-powering it.

As the OP says, it takes pedals really well and I plugged my own pedalboard in which has a range of ODs with differing amounts of gain and it took them, compression, delays and fx really well.

Don't think that this is some sort of boutique DRRI because of the similar valves, wattage etc.. it's so much more.

Bloody good amps these.

Suggest you treat yourself to a visit to B&G Guitars website, and especially to their Facebook page. Inscrutably, LS herself will know the right amp when it eventually turns up...
