Ibanez have just announced another premium Jem

Im a huge Vai fan and love the Jem models but this looks dreadful in my eyes

Oh it's a wooden scratch plate. I honestly thought it was mouldy or had fag burns on it at first.

Sorry but it looks a mess - too many things going on, fighting for attention and it looks cheap as a result.

It does look a bit messy.  The pickups design is quite steampunk looking.

Yeah he'll use this in the promo video and for one song on stage during a gig and that'll be it. Same as he did with the sea foam green one

It could be worse, still has the weird hole in it. The wooden scratch plate would work if it wasn't a burl, maybe in flame maple.
