Anyone going to An Audience with Bernie Marsden tomorrow night at Oran Mor?

I don't know very much about him, but everything I've seen on him is so interesting and in the interviews I've watched he's such an engaging speaker and superb player. Really looking forward to this.

It says doors are 7pm and it's all seated but I can't find anything out about what time it starts and it's not the sort of thing you want to wander in late to. I assume it's unallocated seats, so I guess we just turn up as early as possible to get a decent seat? Anyone know when it actually starts? I wish they'd just say on tickets, I've gone to gigs regularly for 20 years and this "Doors Open" then nothing else thing always keeps me guessing...

    Aye, think that's best plan to be honest. I couldn't find a contact email other than for the ticket agents, but I'll get a number for the venue and give them a buzz later.

    Bugger, we've got tickets to see the Glasgow Warriors tomorrow night and I don't think I can convince my better half to sack that and see a guitar player instead!

    Well, you're on a slightly better deal than me at least - no way I could get Mrs. P to go to a rugby match with me. :)

    A mate is going with me. Few beers and some bar food then over to the venue.

    Seeing him now it's hard to visualise him in spandex back in his Whitesnake days.

    That was a superb gig. Wow.

    What a lovely guy and his playing is so captivating. Superb night! Ended up accidentally hammered afterwards, couldn't even eat my post pub chippy! No "Beast" and it was all acoustic, bar one (maybe two?) songs, but what a show. Got myself a signed copy of his Rory Gallagher Sessions double CD on the way out, which should be brilliant listening.
