They also repeated whatr I'd read about there being only two known 58-60 left handed LP standards.
I am looking forward to watching the episode and feel certain that, this time, the Boutique Pickups will have been installed in Oscar. Or a 'Burst. For a fascinating comparison.
Because, at the end of the day......it's only Solder.
Which sounds a bit kinky.
So Keith Richards playing a Les Paul "burst" isn't important, guys? Erm... well maybe not in the US but *incredibly* important to the UK. And point is, you showed a picture of Clapton playing Keith's guitar a bit earlier in the film, Keith lent him the guitar when the fabled Beano-burst was nicked (and is allegedly in the US - probably until after Eric's passing, and then it will be auctioned for a metric fuck pile... nice) for some early Cream shows... that's how important Keith and THAT guitar is. IIRC, it was the first Les Paul Standard "burst" in the UK... and most of the artists you call out as being "important" are UK guys.
What about Beck with his dark 'burst" with the black pickup rings? Not important, huh? Probably not...
Jesus... the brother love for these guys astounds me.
Yep, that just about sums up their narrative.
