NVGD: Stratiness.

OK, this is what it is; a refinished, refretted 1964 strat with replaced machineheads and bridge saddles/block.

With lovely checking that you can't quite see.

Jaydee did the refin. It weights around 7.4lbs.

I have actually bought this only to re-sell it and a lucky forumite has dibs on it. But in the meantime, I can enjoy it!

Lovely! I have a '64 which I had refinished by Clive Brown about 15 years ago in three tone burst. I wish it was Oly White now though!

Well, I have a confession.

It was very dark last night when I collected. I am also a little poor with night and colour vision.

Sonic's good too. When Clive Brown refinished my '64 years ago he found a tiny trace of the original colour in one of the cavities, and it was apparently the same blue, whatever it's called, as the one on the front of the Ultimate Guitar Book. That would have been very cool now, though I still went for 3TSB, now rather more aged some 15 years later.
