Hey guys,

Not 100% what I'm looking for but if you've got something based on a fuzz face for sale could you let me know please?

I'm considering ordering an if 6 was 9 from Coda so thought I'd ask here first!

Thanks,

Rich

The best Hendrix tone I've found so far, though to be honest I use it mostly for the clean tone with the guitar volume down: it nails his clean tone and of course explodes into full fuzz tones from 66-68 Hendrix.
What fuzz sound are you after exactly? Tell me the Hendrix tone you mean. The pedal you mentioned doesn't sound very Hendrix to me but I only heard one video.

  • Hey mate, really appreciate the reply! what pedal is it you're talking about? I think you might have left it out by accident?

I'm looking for a general Hendrix fuzz, hah if such a thing exists! I've got a fulltone octafuzz and I want to pair it to another fuzz so I can use the octave feature with it! I'd want it to clean up and also but able to do all out fuzz. But not after a spefic period of Hendrix, just that general tone.

    Thanks!

i have the sonus 108 but it's a very tight fuzz, more suitable for the valleys of neptune record.
there's an ad in italy where i live for the old 1968 jimi mod from sonus which i have selling for 160 pounds. i can see if he'll drop the price or include delivery to the uk.

I heard from the seller in Italy. Is 160£ over your budget?

Monsterpiece NPN BC108? It's a fuzz-face with an external bias and a battery on/off toggle switch.

My mistake... it's a 70 not a 69. I had both at one stage but only have the 70 left. Apologies.
