I'd recommend a Timmy over an RC Booster. I think there was one or two in the classifieds.

Aha, @voxmanjohn. Nothing beats trying them! I've got a Magnetic Effects Satellite to sell if you fancied it? It's a similar transparent boost / drive, a little smoother than the Timmy and a little more character and a smidge more mids I would say.
