I fitted one the other day, neat for displaying, but not sure I'd use it on a guitar I wanted to play a lot

I thought it looked more like a presentation hanger rather than one you'd use for guitars you regularly play, and I haven't got any guitars that aren't for playing.

My boss told me "dress for the job you want, not the job you have"... now I'm sat in a disciplinary meeting dressed as Batman.

Never tried them because they look a bit flimsy.
You'd be better off gluing the guitar to the wall with Araldite.

I think they could be done better.

Use the same concept of hanging the guitar via the strap buttons, but rather than threading the buttons into a hole, have it so the guitar can be slotted downward into the brackets, so you can easily just lift it out.

You might need stronger metal bracket, but still seems like it would be better than some hefty wall mount stand.

If they were sturdy enough in the wall, then they'd be as safe and easy to use as any stand.

Also if you change guitar for another shape you're buggered.

But that'd only be gluing it to the paint!

Breeze-blocks and iron bars in my case.

I keep straps on my guitars, so I wouldn't want a hanger where I had to take the strap off to hang the guitar on the wall.

So you could say, you keep a strap on.
