Les Paul in his own words deluxe book

I'm not really a massive les Paul or Gibson fan but this book is a lovely ready I guess for most guitar players.
I've just sent the afternoon at my parents going through some stuff n we pull this book out. 
It's very illustrated with pictures n text about les Paul's guitars through the years.
Worth a look if you get chance.

Next time you're reading it, you might want to put white cotton gloves on.

Amazon UK lists it at £93 (out of stock)... and Amazon US has the hardcover centennial edition for $248 (or, if you're feeling flush, the signed edition is $300 new or $891 used!)

Our is the deluxe edition signed hardcover one of 1500.

Wow... make that two pairs of gloves... just in case one falls off.

Looks like you've got a bit of an investment there... judging by the prices people are asking for that edition second hand.

I've got this one that Russ Cochran also did this on Chet Atkins.

Why is it called a Les Paul Deluxe book.
Is it heavy.

They did the regular paper back one but then russ Cochran did a limited amount of 1500 that were a delux hardback version that where singed.
