Ewhurst's famous residents include:
- Eric Clapton, who is known to play at the Church of England church
- Mike Rutherford, founding member of Genesis
- Kenney Jones of Small Faces and The Who
- Jim Davidson
- Gary Brooker, founder of Procol Harum
- Diane James MEP for UKIP
- Brough Scott
Quite a mix.I guess there is some common ground between a UKIP politician, Clapton & Davidson.
Quite enjoyed the interview even though Clapton doesn't seem to have much sense of humour. Whitehouse is funny though.
The music on the album is about as bland as possible.
But they are not boring.
Amps have been modern Tweed Fenders for many years.
I've seen him wandering around Cranleigh in his dressing gown picking up grouts and putting them in his tobacco tin.
I know it's the done thing among a certain type of guitarist to dismiss old Slowhand as completely out of touch and all that, but first, I think most of us are (I know I am), and second, I don't really care, I think he's still pretty good.
I enjoyed that. Thanks for posting that, @tone1.
